- Byzantine chain is handcrafted from stainless steel which is virtually indestructible however, with any jewelry its a good idea to remove before showering, bathing and swimming, or before applying colognes or perfumes
- Pendant is high shine steel alloy and needs no polishing
- Periodically wipe the chain down with a damp cloth (no cleansers) to remove dead skin, clothing lint etc. Polish with a soft cloth (no polish) to bring back the shine
- Stainless steel is not shiny (think kitchen sink stainless steel) but has a definite sheen and will not tarnish
